LCAP 2016-17 Draft

Central Unified has received input from the community including parents, students and staff, to assist with the development of the LCAP for 2016-2017.  A draft of the English version is available here for review.  A Spanish version will be available once the translation is complete. The CUSD Board of Trustees held a public hearing on the plan at their meeting on June 14, 2016.
During the LCAP public hearing, the following question was asked, "How will performing arts facilities be affected?"

Answer: The activities listed in the 2016-2017 LCAP do not directly affect the performing arts facilities. However, in a continuously growing district with class size reduction the need for elementary classrooms increases. This decreases space for visual and performing arts classes, professional development rooms, and specialized services.
Approval of the LCAP plan is scheduled for the June 28, 2016 Board Meeting at 7:00 pm at the Performing Arts Center of Central High School East Campus.
